Sassy Summer Looks from Francesca’s

Summertime in South Texas means heat. The temperatures will rise quickly. Livin’ Sassy wants to share with you the latest trends that will help you beat the heat and still look fabulous!

Our Sassy Mom models for the month of May went to Francesca’s at the Shops at LaCantera to pick out some clothes that would make them  feel comfortable and cool. They needed something  elegant enough to wear to some place like the Eilan Hotel. The models are pictured throughout the lobby of this brand new hotel. Francesca’s  is a store that specializes in providing an eclectic mix of options to choose from in all the latest styles and fashions.

Our models loved all the wonderful colors of the spring and summer collections. I think you will find something to love in the outfits they have chosen. All the women you see pictured here are just regular Moms who happen to have triplets and twins and more! We all met while members of the San Antonio Mothers of Multiples group. There is a bond between women that have given birth to multiple children. You truly understand the added stresses of raising children the same age.

I loved taking their pictures for the website. In their smiles, I not only see their beauty but a confidence of surviving those early years. Their children are all school age now and they are enjoying the challenges in this new phase of their lives. My hope is that you see the beauty of their friendship in these pictures. There is truly a bond of love and support among these friends. These are just regular Moms who took the time out of their very busy lives so I could capture a day out of the ordinary. They pretended to be models and smiled and laughed and felt rejuvenated because that is what wonderful friends do; they love and support each other.

Livin’ Sassy is about showing my friends how marvelous I think they are and how wonderful they make everyone in their lives feel. We are all so busy that we sometimes need a reminder.  I want the website to be this constant reminder that with encouragement, you can accomplish almost anything. I want it to be a soft place to land and make you feel like you are always among friends.

Our first model is Jonnie. She is a single Mom of six year old triplets and a teenage daughter. In other words, she’s busy! She loves her job in marketing and social media at a local technology company. In her spare time she runs marathons! And she somehow manages to look fabulous too!  She always has this wonderful smile on her face! Her free spirit is so refreshing!

She is wearing a beautiful turquoise polka dot dress. It’s timeless and elegant and goes easily from a day at work to dinner out with friends.

Our next model is Erin. She is a former television news anchor and reporter in the New York, Missoula and Omaha markets before landing in San Antonio. She became a stay at home Mom with her then newborn twin boys.  The boys are now 8 and and she has a precious girl who is 5. She loves attending their many sporting events,working out at the gym and attending Spurs games with her wonderful husband.  She founded a home based video editing business to help feed her passion for telling stories while preserving precious memories for other people. Her business is called Once Upon A Memory Video Scrapbook. And believe me, the end result is a work of art for each client!

Her dress is gorgeous with vibrant colors and patterns. Its design is much like a scarf.

Marli is in pharmaceutical sales as well as being a mother of 5. Her triplet boys and 2 daughters don’t give her much down time. She loves being at her kids sporting events and her daughters’ dance classes. She is a country girl at heart and can always be found outdoors, especially tubing down the river.

She looks stunning in this yellow dress with the perfect belt. Marli poses like she has been a model her whole life! Just lovely.

Last, we have Susan. She is a triplet Mom of 2 boys and a girl. She is a successful realtor near the Hill Country. Her and her handsome husband love to spend time with their kids outdoors and explore new places in their RV.  She has completed a full marathon and a half marathon.  I swear, do these women  ever just sit on the couch?

She looks so wonderful in this off white dress with intricate detailing on the bottom. I just love these boots.  She brought them from home.
