Overnight Stay Sweepstakes Giveaway!

By Laura Nivin 36 Comments

Well just like doing my taxes, I have procrastinating in having a Livin’ Sassy sweepstakes giveaway for my readers!

Can y’all forgive me? Does it help to know that the  winner of a random drawing will be able to spend a night at the elegant and recently totally renovated Emily Morgan Hotel in downtown San Antonio?

I went to an event there a few months ago and just fell in love all over again with this hotel. Since the renovations, the lobby has a real hip and trendy vibe while reminding you that you are in one of a kind historic location. And the Alamo is literally right next door.

Now, I haven’t been in their remodeled rooms yet, but from the pictures on their website, they look absolutely beautiful. A night’s stay is sure to make you feel oh, so sassy!

Fiesta is almost here. We are kicking off the one week countdown with this sweepstakes giveaway. We will announce the winner in a random drawing next Thursday, April 18th, 2013. It is the first official day of Fiesta 2013

All you have to do to enter is comment on this blog post with your favorite Fiesta event. If you’ve never been to Fiesta, then your favorite San Antonio attraction! And if you’ve never been to San Antonio then I really feel sorry for you! You need to hurry up and visit!

And y’all need to hurry up and enter. And I need to hurry up and finish our taxes!

Love y’all.

Stay Sassy.

Even though we have lived here for 8 years, the Dowell’s have never attended a Fiesta event……WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR!?!?!?! I would love to go down to King William’s Fair, see the Parades, and of course the food would be a selling point! I think this is the year!

Battle of Flowers, baby! Same seats every year, which were perfect before they cut down the huge oak that shaded us! Still great, though!

We went to SA for spring break. It was the first family vacation we have taken since being united with my husbands daughter that found us after 24 years. We had the best of times. It’s a miracle and a blessing to have all three of our daughters together as a family.

My favorite is soon to be the first annual Fiesta Party at The Can Plant, my home. They plan on closing off Mueller St. between Ave. A and Karnes St. to have the first ever street party. I will get back with you on the date and time just in case there are any Sassy Ladies who would like to explore. Cheers, Sue
