Happy Fourth of July!
May I interrupt your festivities to let you know the winners of our Livin’ Sassy Bon Jovi Ticket Sweepstakes Giveaway?
We spent our morning at the neighborhood parade. It gets bigger and better every year.
In case you were wondering, my children didn’t dress up this year.Nothing says, “Happy 4th of July” like hairbows and crocs.
Most of the neighbors were much more festive.
Here is my friend Kristina’s dog.

She is awfully sweet and so is her boy.
I love her hair!
Do y’all remember Stella? She’s my teacher neighbor that tells me when I have typos in my posts!
One of my twins has a crush on her son…ssshh..don’t tell anybody!
That’s our neighborhood pool. All those deep conversations with my fellow swim team moms take place under all those trees.
We didn’t stick around to hear who won the contest for the best dog costumes or people costumes because we still needed to eat breakfast.
We went to my kid’s favorite place.
My boy never smiles this big unless there is a breakfast taco involved!
His taco of choice is potato and egg. The Original Donut Shop has the best ones in town.
We then headed to buy some fireworks for a party later tonight. I think half of San Antonio was there too.
There’s been a ban on fireworks the past few years because of the awful drought. I do believe that there might be a lot of noise tonight!
Or at least that is what my boy is counting on.
That’s been our day so far.
