I just wrote about this park but I love it so much that I am writing about it again!
There is something so right about going to the dog park and being surrounded by fellow dog lovers. You don’t have to apologize if your dog jumps up on someone or does some other ghastly thing that non-dog lovers consider awful behavior. I have told my single friends that if they want to get a quick character assessment of a potential date then they need to hang out at this park and see how they treat the animals! I also noticed that there is an abundance of single people that hang out on late Friday afternoons.
I might just start a dating service for dog lovers. My business cards would read: creator of Livin’ Sassy, former mortgage banker and canine matchmaker extraordinaire!
The pavilion is now open at the Blanco location.
And the “Making Hay” Public Art display can still be seen.
The retro merry go round is still going round and round! Maybe I will see you there and give you one of my cards.
