Here is my recap of the 2012 Golden Globes. Keep in mind that I turned it on late and was also washing and folding clothes as well as sweeping. Not to worry, multi-tasking is my middle name. It is actually Teresa,like the Saint. St. Teresa. Yes, my parents were very hopeful.
*Bright red lipstick was the look of the night. (I love this so much).
*Best looking men with grey hair-Matt LeBlanc,Dustin Hoffman and George Clooney (the last one was a given).
*Acceptance speech that sounded the most like a business meeting: Tie between Martin Scorsese and Claire Danes (yawn).
*I have only seen about 6 of the movies nominated (thank goodness for Netflix).
*Angelina Jolie….the girl can make an entrance in a room…WOW.
*I cried when Octavia Spencer won for The Help (my favorite movie, wait I’m crying again).
*Marriage really agrees with Reese Witherspoon.
*Sidney Poitier is just cool,period.
*Nicole Kidman would look good in a potato sack.
*Love me some Meryl Streep but what in the world was she wearing? It looks like she bought it at J.C. Penney. On sale. Five years ago.
*Ricky Gervais is kind of icky.
*Women who obviously spend a lot of time in the gym: Madonna,Jessica Lange,Michelle Pfieffer,the sexy Modern Family wife whose name escapes me at the moment.
*I really need to go to the gym more often.
