By Laura Nivin 3 Comments

There is an upcoming event that requires you to “Go Play in the Street!” That’s right! The FREE and fun filled family event will be held on Sunday March 4,2012. The opening ceremony and parade start at 10am and the event lasts until 3pm.  Come and enjoy the 4 mile car-free route on your bike or skates. You can run, skip or walk!  Do whatever you want to be active, that is the idea! There will be a special family area with hula hoops, face painting, rock wall climbing, balloon artists, kids’ ZUMBA  and even an obstacle course! Pets are welcome as long as they are on a leash. Water will be available along the route as well as other beverages and healthy food options for purchase. Did I mention LIVE music too? The list goes on and on! For more detailed information visit www.siclovia.org. Hope to see you there!

    Laura,

Thank you for posting this great info. Siclovia is going to be so much fun. Above all it’s free family fun for everyone!!
Just learned the Spurs Coyote will be there, Urban 15 going to lead the Fit Family Parade—so, if you’ve ever wanted to be in a parade…here’s your chance. Although, I get the feeling you were the homecoming queen!!

Thanks again. Siclovia is Sun. Mar 4, 10am-3am, and the parade begins at 10am at Lion’s Field Park, 2809 Broadway at Mulberry!!

    Randy
