Ella Blue We Love You

By Laura Nivin 3 Comments

We ventured to the town of Boerne to find our Sassy Looks for the month of January. I asked some of the best teachers that I know, Shannon and Ruby to model for Livin’ Sassy and they happily obliged. They picked one of their favorite stores, Ella Blue, which has been open on Main Street for eight years and specializes in the latest trends at reasonable prices. They were having a huge sale while we were there, so hopefully these great clothes will still be in stock!

Our first outfit has Ruby in one of the hottest looks right now: sequins. We loved the vibrant colors and the silk belt that is the perfect accent to show off her tiny waist. Can you believe the sassiness from the mother of 3?

The cost of the outfit:

Dress $87

Shoes $19

Jewelry by Stella & Dot

Shannon looks stunning in these fun and playful print pants that she instantly feel in love with and so did we! She had on the perfect grey boots with a wedge heel that are hidden by the flare in the pants, but trust us, they are stylish and  only $18. She could even wear these pants while teaching her kindergarten class.  What stain?  Where?

The cost of the outfit:

Top $28

Pants $34

Boots $18

Jewelry by Stella & Dot

Every woman needs a little black dress and this next outfit moves from the classroom to her kid’s after school activities to meeting friends at the movies.

The dress is only $19 no, that is not a typo! Hurry in and grab one. It goes great with black boots or any color of heels. The simplicity of the dress highlights the bold necklace by Stella and Dot.

With this next dress it looks like we are in the West Indies. Shannon rocked this $37 dress so much so that someone else bought one while we were in the store trying on outfits. When she is not being a wife, mother of 2 boys and a busy teacher, Shannon also sells Stella & Dot jewelry, which she provided for all the outfits modeled. Take a look at her website www.stelladot.com/sjensen the right piece of jewelry completes any outfit.

This picture is so very pretty and I must thank my dear friend Michelle Marroquin for  capturing these amazing shots.

There are a couple of pictures that I have to share with you because they will make you smile. We loved spending time with these ladies and would like to thank them for their dedication to the teaching profession. We are so glad  they spent a little bit of their winter break with Livin’ Sassy.

A big thank you to Ella Blue for allowing us to come in their store and play dress up. They are located at 146 S. Main St. Boerne,Tx 78006. Their phone number is 830-249-6336 and the website is www.shopellablue.com

And even more smiles from some very special friends.
