A Genius Giveaway!

I have been having horrible problems with my iMAC this week. I finally made an appointment to take it into the Genius Bar at the Apple Store this afternoon. I was dreading it. After backing up 980,621 items (the actual number) on my new portable drive that holds a gazillion megabytes (I made that up) I unplugged everything and headed to LaCantera. I never realized how much one item meant to me. I was so scared that I was going to drop that thing on the sidewalk right there in front of Chico’s. (they have some darling shirts in the window by the way) Every time I walk in the Apple Store, I get a rush of excitement. I think it’s because there is so much brain power in one confined place. I haven’t felt like that since I went to an economist convention with the hubby. Yes,they do let economists gather in one place. It is rather humorous. I can’t wait to blog about it one day. I will be sure and take the camera. Pocket protectors will be spotted. I am sure of it. Anyway, my genius Chris handled everything for me. He even told me about the curbside service so I wouldn’t have to carry my computer back to the car.  I took his picture. Thank you Chris. You ARE a genius and  sweet too.

Since Chris made my life completely better today, I am going to give away a gift certificate. No, not to the Apple Store but to Studio Joli. I have decided to paint our guest room the color of their store. I feel in love with the paint color. In order to qualify, you need to guess the specific color name. No cheating and calling the store to ask them. Just comment on the post and enter your guess. The first one who guesses correctly wins and helps me move the furniture to paint.
