It’s a Wrap!

Pinterest

One of my very first jobs as a teenager was at a jewelry store that offered free gift wrap for every item sold. The owner of the store was a former Marine. She was picky. Let’s just say I can wrap a pretty present very efficiently! It seems as if you don’t see as many gifts that are wrapped since the invention of the gift bag. I love gift bags, especially since I have so many birthday parties to attend with my children. They are so easy to recycle and all your really need is new or newish tissue paper and voila! I do prefer a present to be wrapped but I can never find the scotch tape in our house. One of my children has a scotch tape obsession. She tapes random items to various forms of paper. I am choosing to call it art.

Believe it or not, there are stores in town that still wrap gifts for free. They also offer that old fashion customer service. It is what keeps me going back to their stores. You can run in on your way to lunch with your girlfriends or right before a birthday party. They both do a large volume of online business as well so even if you don’t live close by,  you can shop on their website and have it shipped to you!

The first store is Mufungo that specializes in unique gift items. I feel in love with these glass wine stoppers.

The bookmarks are beautiful and what is not to love about that fancy pill box with pink pumps!

The next store is Toy Zone. This place makes my kids even happier than me! They have two train tables set up in the play area. The hardest part is trying to get them to leave!

The staff is so wonderful about recommending the best toy according to their age group. The hottest thing for girls are these “Sassy Pet Saks” well, you know I had to take a picture!

I bought these two gifts for parties this weekend. They loose sassy points for stick on bows but they are wrapped and I didn’t have to do it!
