I went to the hubby’s speech today at the Plaza Club to hear his 2012 Economic Forecast for San Antonio. I have been working from home a lot lately so I was thrilled to get gussied up for a change. You know it’s been awhile when the teachers at school don’t recognize you because you aren’t wearing workout clothes and a ball cap to drop your kids off. I busted out the big guns for a big event. I wore one of my favorite jackets: a cheetah print with a faux fur collar. You put that thing on and you immediately get an attitude. It makes me happy. So does seeing my man at the podium with a power point presentation and a laser pointer. Some women like muscles. I like brains. My man has a really big brain. He was the Chief Economist for the city of San Antonio for almost seven years and now he runs a think tank. Now you know why he helps our boy with his pre-algebra homework. The part of my brain that used to store algebra left me when I gave birth to our first child. Motherhood causes you to lose brain cells. It is a fact. I googled it.
I guess I should mention that the hubby has forecast a growth for our local economy of a little over 2 percent. Steady as she goes.
