I am making a list for a road trip. I am going to a wedding in Dallas. I get to see my great big family and eat wedding cake. I thought I would share with you what is on my shopping list. These are things that I consider road trip necessities.
First there is body butter from the Body Shop. The orange scent is so perfect for summer time. I don’t wear perfume that much anymore because there are so many scented lotions to compete with the scent. This is my favorite kind. It keeps you extra soft!
These are makeup removers. They come in a huge box and are individually packaged in travel sizes so you don’t have to take a huge package with you. It has plastic lid on the top to reseal it and keep the moisture in. They smell heavenly and make your skin feel so soft. These are the Costco brand. I have tried the name brand ones and they aren’t nearly as good. I love them.
Did ya’ll know that most deodorants have aluminum in them as the very first ingredient? I couldn’t believe it until I started reading labels. I tried lots of different kinds but this is by far the best one. It is pretty inexpensive too. It is made from natural crystals and no chemicals. It has the pink ribbon seal of approval. I buy it at the grocery store or the pharmacy. It is under $3.00 which is a bargain for a little piece of mind. It dries quickly and is clear so it won’t stain your clothes.
We are now going down the snack aisle! Do you hear that? Those are my kids begging for potato chips! I say no as usual. You can’t blame them for trying! I buy these instead. Excuse the wrinkle at the top! They are almost gone. I have to buy some more! They are baked and not fried Pop Chips! Think rice cakes but better! They have a little kick to them too! We love the sour cream flavor as well!
We are still in the snack aisle! I have a teenage boy after all! Have you ever had Pirate’s Booty? They are very light and crunchy. They come in many flavors but we are partial to the white cheddar! We can’t take a long road trip without them!
This isn’t exactly road trip food but I put it on my list. It is probably at the top. It is so good I can hardly stand it. It has all the ingredients I love. On second thought, I better not buy it. I need to get into a tight fitting dress for the wedding. I put this on Facebook the other day and then saw one of my friends at the grocery store. She told me she bought it for her family too and she was mad at me because she couldn’t stop eating it!
We were standing there in the middle of the grocery store going on and on about this ice cream. I think we were about to cry and hug and high five at our mutual ice cream experience! It is the Costco brand. I know I talk about Costco a lot but I go there about twice a week. This ice cream is worth the cost of an annual membership! I pinky swear! I double pinky swear!
I guess I better get to the store!
Stay Sassy Ya’ll!
