Let’s face it, girls dress for girls. Men don’t really care to know that you got your cute new shirt at T J Maxx for 75 percent off! They don’t understand that this is basically the women’s modern version of hunting and gathering. We must hunt and gather bargains. It is part of our DNA. I love a bargain. I also love telling total strangers how much I love their outfits. Since I now have a website, I thought it would be fun to ask total strangers if I could take their picture for Livin’ Sassy! It takes a lot of work to look Sassy so I think everyone should be acknowledged every now and then for all their efforts! Sassy to me doesn’t mean expensive or all about designer labels. It is quite the opposite. It takes real Sass to put an outfit together that looks expensive but really didn’t cost much money at all.
I was on my way to the dentist office when I stopped in for a bagel. I was rushed getting the kids out of the house this morning and had no time to eat. Yeah, like today would be different. I spotted Elsa in line behind me waiting for my turn to order, which was a skinny latte and a thin whole wheat bagel with veggie cream cheese, in case you were wondering! I chatted her up while we were both waiting on our to- go orders.
She works full time and is working on her Masters degree in Public Health. Not only does she dress Sassy, she is smart too! I loved her dress slacks and her pumps. (you can’t see here) and the beautiful color of her shirt. She also has on the perfect chandelier earrings! You go Elsa! You smart and sassy girl!
Well the office staff at Dr. Mooney’s office was looking pretty Sassy too! I loved their jewelry and they each picked out things this morning that match their beautiful eye color! I should have asked Jenny where she got that blue necklace. Don’t you just adore Kristine’s green silky shirt? I might need one of those for St. Patrick’s Day! You sure are looking cute answering those phones at Mooney Family Dental!
Little did Carol know when she walked in the dentist office this morning that her outfit would end up on the internet! Me, Jenny and Kristine were all giggling about me wanting to take their picture. I was waiting on them to put on their lipstick when Carol walked in the door for her dentist appointment. We all glanced over at Carol and almost said in unison,” Your boots are awesome!” Of course I asked to take her picture! She said she had just bought her dress on the clearance rack! She was proud of that sassy dress! She also made all of the jewelry that she is wearing! It is called Jewelry…Just Because. She is Sassy and talented!
Thank you to all my Sassy on the Street models for agreeing for a stranger to take their picture for her little blog. It sure did make my day of going to the dentist a lot more fun!

Thanks Michelle! I really loved doing them today and it will be a regular feature! The ladies were so sweet and fun! It makes me stay on my toes trying to look sassy~I wasn’t feeling it in my outfit today, but I guess we can’t be sassy every day!

I didn’t get Elsa’s contact information, maybe she will see this an reply. I can ask my dentist office staff and get them to send a note to Carol~those boots were so cool and even had a blingy bracelet around them!
