After all the stress and build up for Christmas Day, it is almost over. Here are a few thoughts and a family picture taken recently at the twin’s dance recital. Our boy just keeps on getting taller. We are sending out Valentine’s cards, we promise. Here are my thoughts:
Wonders why we can’t just skip the toys all together and go straight to the cardboard box.
Candlelight services always make me cry.
Hearing my six year old sing “Away in a Manger” off key and at the top of her lungs is probably the sweetest thing I have ever heard but proof that she will never win American Idol.
Hanging out with the hubby until wee hours of the morning wrapping presents is darn near romantic.
Is pretty sure that eating in our formal dining room on china while dressed in pajamas is our new favorite family tradition.
Thinks the Twister game needs to have maximum age guidelines posted on the box or a prerequisite of yoga class is a excellent idea.
Wishes roasted garlic mashed potatoes where a food group.
Blanching is easy after all.
Squeals of delight over the smallest gifts are heaven sent.
Is grateful for every single day but especially Christmas.
Happy Birthday Jesus.
