If you need some ideas as to what to get your wife for Valentine’s Day, I have some tips for you. I got these ideas from a very scientific survey, the 21st century kind, I asked all my Facebook friends. Most of their answers weren’t much of a surprise but they all had a consistent tone. They don’t necessarily want material things.
Here is a summary of their answers:
*Take time to plan an entire date- Going out is a lot of work, especially if you have young children. Find the babysitter and make the dinner plans. She won’t have to do a thing. She will find this sexy. I promise.
*Show her you care-Doing something as simple as getting the oil changed in her car, washing it and filling it up with gas. Leaving a sticky note saying “I love you” on the mirror of her sun visor is sure to make her smile.
*Give her some time to herself while you handle the kids. Let her sleep in ,read a book, take a long bath. Let her know you appreciate all that she does and she deserves a break.
*Surprise her with a clean house.
*Your undivided attention. No cell phone, laptop, TV or any other distractions. Only you.
*Any gift that is thoughtful and shows that you really know her and listen and it doesn’t have to necessarily cost a lot of money. If you have problems thinking of something, ask her Mom or her best friend!
*Make dinner. It doesn’t matter the level of your cooking skills. One night off is gift enough.
Women aren’t that complicated after all. We just want to be appreciated and spend some time with you.
Ladies-feel free to print out and attach to the bathroom mirror as a little hint!
Happy Valentine’s Day Y’all!
