I met some friends at Morgan’s Wonderland this morning. My family has been so many times that I can’t count. The twins even had their 5th birthday party there.
This was our first time to go to their Mom’s group program.
It is held on the first and third Friday of each month.
If you aren’t familiar with Morgan’s Wonderland, it is a theme park in San Antonio that was built for accessibility for everyone. For instance, the merry go round and train are designed specifically for wheelchairs. For guests with sensory issues, the park is never overcrowded.
It doesn’t play loud music. My kids love it. I love it.
Everyone loves Morgan’s Wonderland.
The new program for Mom’s offers free coffee and an activity for your kids. Today, they had the option of making sun visors or necklaces. The cost is $15.00 per Mom and the price includes your admission for your children. It starts at 9am which is perfect to beat the heat in the summertime. If your child won’t sit still for a craft, then they can always go fishing or play on the playground like one of my twins insisted on doing.
We had a wonderful time. I plan on going back as much as I can until school starts again in August. Hopefully, this is a permanent program because I can’t think of a better place to meet for a playgroup or a Mom’s club.
Look what all the popular Mom’s are wearing!
Don’t you love their new blingy shirts?

The activity to occupy my kids and no loud music tickles me pink! Then you said something about coffee! We loved Morgan’s Wonderland and so did the kids!
My favorite ride as a kid had to be the Log Ride at Frontier City! Sit in the front and you’ll get a good soaking! A roller coaster and water ride rolled into one, one way to beat the heat in Oklahoma!

Don’t you just hunt down the log ride when it’s so hot like it is right now! Cools you right off! Thank you for taking the time to enter sweet thing!

Where I grew up we had Fairs, similar to Kiddie Park, and I don’t know what the ride was called but my favorite was one where you stand with your back against a wall and then it starts to spin around like a top while the floor drops down . We remained pinned against that wall, holding on to nothing , with static hair , and not being able to move. We would always scream throughout the ride and had a blast.
Laura says
I used to love that ride Marybeth! Now, that I am older, I am not sure if spin around that much without getting sick! I remember everyone’s hair sticking to the wall too! Thanks for the great memory and you are entered!

My favorite ride is definitely the Ferris wheel at night. I love getting to the top and looking at the city lights.
