If you have never been to Jack Ryan’s in downtown Kilgore, you are in for a treat.
Not only will you have some incredible views of oil derricks as you drive up to their door, the food is worth every single mile that you drive to get there.
I had eaten there this summer for lunch but this was the first time for the dinner service.
From the bar staff that attended to us until our entire party arrived, the waiter that served us all night, to the hostess that opened the door for us when we left; the service was impeccable.
I am so excited that a restaurant of this caliber can be found in my hometown of 12,000 people. It could easily be in the big cities of Dallas, Houston or San Antonio. I wrote a post about how they came home to raise a family in East Texas when they first opened last year.
I can’t blame them, it was the perfect place for me to grow up.
Now when I visit with my own family, we have Jack Ryan’s to forward to without having to drive to the big city!
Here are some pictures of some the food that we enjoyed this past weekend to give you some idea what is on the menu.
If you go, make sure you call and make reservations for dinner. Their website also has all of the hours of operation, click here
Now, I want those crab cakes!
Stay Sassy Y’all.
