I am busy writing checks for the kids summer camps. How about we have a Camp Mommy? We can have wine and chocolate flow freely, hang out in our PJ’s and watch old Lifetime movies. We can thenĀ play the game, “Guess Who is Premenopausal” and talk about old boyfriends who have let themselves go!

When I would take our oldest daughter to Camp Mystic, having written a sizable check to do it, I always thought: “heck if this place had air conditioning, I would certainly sign up for a two-week session!!! During the summers, when we blow a fuse on our brainpower trying to think up ways to keep our kids active and entertained, I often think of the Camp Nothing I enjoyed as a child. Those were the good old days.
