My niece Amy is getting married in a couple of months.
It’s hard to believe that she’s all grown up.
She was the cutest toddler. She had these curly blonde ringlets and beautiful blue-green eyes. And the sunniest personality, just like her momma Deb Deb!
Oh my gosh, everyone loves this young lady.
She was the school mascot for all four years of high school. She cheered for those Bulldogs with pride and all the while in that big, heavy costume. Our girl has some grit!
I am pretty sure she gets a lot of her sense of humor from her daddy. My brother Jimmy is going to have a hard time giving his baby girl away.
She got engaged to her long time boyfriend Zach. She met him at Texas A & M. Yes, it’s going to be a double Aggie wedding! Those are fun! Everyone breaks out in random yell leading. There’s whooping and all kinds of reminiscing going on. It’s like no other wedding reception you’ve ever seen.
We are so happy for both of them.
Zach is about as laid back and funny as she is! I am sure this will add up to a long and happy life together.
They recently had their engagement pictures taken and their personalities came out for the camera.
Long gone are those poses with the ring hand placed on the groom-to-be’s shoulder and boom, you’re done.
Engagement photos are so creative these days.
And I love it.
Josh Rhoden did an amazing job on these pictures.
It was hard to pick a favorite. So, like a proud aunt, I have to share almost all of them!
Congratulations Zach and Amy.
Many blessings on your upcoming nuptials.
It’s going to be a beautiful wedding.
And then a party, a big ‘ol Aggie wedding reception party!
WHOOP.
STAY SASSY Y’ALL.
