There is nothing more I love than going out to eat for a celebration. You don’t have to cook and someone else does the dishes. And you can usually get some ideas for recipes to try at home, or make that my husband can try at home! Let’s just say he’s the better cook in our house! When your kids ask when daddy’s getting home so he will be the one to make dinner, then you just know! It’s OK, I’ve learned to embrace it!
We went out last weekend to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday. We had been out all day running errands and ended up at the mall. We wanted to get out of the crowds and go to a place that might not be so hectic. Since it was only 4:30, we thought that Tiu Steppi might not have a wait, it has a small eating area, so you just never know! The restaurant has gotten really popular, so we were talking a risk.
While we did have a little bit of a wait to clear off some tables for a larger party, it was worth every single second.
The food was fabulous and the atmosphere was perfect to celebrate our son. There is just nothing better than a local Italian restaurant with mouth watering made from scratch items.
Since I had my camera with me for the birthday celebration, I took some pictures of the food too. I don’t know what it is about food pictures, they make me happy! Maybe because you can look at them and not gain weight!
As we were watching the lines form for the dinner crowd, the wait staff told us that they were expanding the seating area to the place next door. So now we can go and not worry so much about the wait time.
If you are looking for a place with exceptional food and a staff that welcomes you with open arms, this is the perfect place. I would give it a five out of five lipstick tube rating!!
It is located at 1604 and Braun Rd across the parking lot from Two Steps and behind Starbucks!
(now, I can’t stop thinking about that pizza!)
Stay Sassy Y’all.
