The Magic of Rainbows

We were at a hotel this weekend right across from the Tobin Performing Arts Center. It was a birthday sleepover party for our ten year old girls and a few friends. What's not to love about eating potato chips and cupcakes, ordering pizza and swimming in a hotel  pool? We didn't think we would get to swim because of the rainstorm. Thank heavens we came prepared with games of Twister and Monopoly. I mean, they are Girl Scouts and prepared for anything! When the rain finally stopped and the sun started peeking through the clouds, I declared it was time to go swimming. I have never … [Read more...]

The Luxury is Luxuriously Good

The Luxury has been one of the most highly anticipated restaurant openings in recent memory. Not only because of the uniqueness of it being built out of cargo containers, but also due to the fact that it is located right across from the San Antonio Museum of Art and brand new apartment housing. We are finally starting to get a glimpse of what true urban living is all about in our city. It combines my favorite part of the Riverwalk, spectacular food, beautiful views and the laid back atmosphere of San Antonio. Andrew Weissman is the creative force behind this new restaurant as well as Il … [Read more...]

I guess in my mind, I had hopes that it would eventually be found. Besides, there were far too many important things to spend our money on; like … [Read more...]
