I have been anxiously awaiting the opening of The Fruteria. It is the latest restaurant concept by Chef Johnny Hernandez. I am a huge fan of La Gloria, his restaurant at the Pearl Brewery, so I was more than curious to see his take on a fruteria, which in case you are not familiar, is a Mexican fruit stand.The name fruteria means "green grocer." In my former life as an account executive in the mortgage business, I could tell you any restaurant in town to take a client under any set of circumstances. An Amazing Coffee Experience

Warning: Man on the Website! Testosterone Levels Briefly Elevated. The hubby was so excited about this cup of coffee that I told him to blog about and share his experience. I haven't  seen him this excited since the last release of employment data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Round Rock Donuts-Eat Now, Exercise Later!

I have no idea how I have managed to miss out on all the hoopla surrounding Round Rock Donuts until this past weekend. I have lived in Texas my whole life and have driven up and down I-35 a miilion times. I can usually take or leave a donut. I always felt brownies are what are worthy of the calories but not a donut. This theory was before I had tasted a simple glazed and warm Round Rock donut.When we drove up the parking lot was full and the line was long. We knew this was a very good sign.
