The first time I heard Jackson Browne’s voice was along the back roads of East Texas. My sister Liz was determined to expose her younger siblings to a variety of music. Balcones Heights Jazz Festival

I was out on a long overdue date night with the husband on Friday night. We finally went to see the movie Bernie which was playing at the Bijou at Crossroads Mall. It is actually now called Wonderland of the Americas but I still haven't made that name change in my head. The movie was hysterical. Salute to America

Wonderland of the Americas Mall is set to host the 2nd Annual Salute to America this Saturday, June 30th beginning at 6pm to 10pm. It is a FREE outdoor music celebration of Independence Day. The location is the Americas Amphitheatre which is known for hosting the Balcones Heights Jazz Festival. The music line up will include the San Antonio Symphonic Band, the Primetime Jazz Orchestra and the Latin Hip Hop group, Kingz 1.
