The Luxury has been one of the most highly anticipated restaurant openings in recent memory. Not only because of the uniqueness of it being built out of cargo containers, but also due to the fact that it is located right across from the San Antonio Museum of Art and brand new apartment housing. Christmas Lights on the Museum Reach

There are so many festive events in San Antonio this weekend. I don’t know where to start. I seem to have become a travel and event blogger lately. Scenes from Fiesta at the VFW

Our local VFW 76 that is located on the Museum Reach portion of the River Walk, hosts a family friendly Fiesta event. Not only is it the oldest VFW post in Texas but it is housed in the most exquisite building. The proceeds from their Fiesta event will help support renovations in this historic Victorian mansion as well as offer financial assistance to their veterans in need. Bring your lawn chairs and listen to the variety of live music. They have booked music that is Tejano,Blues, Country and Western and the Oldies.
