San Antonio’s local firefighters will be competing in the 2nd annual Firefighter Q Off this Sunday, June 24th from 2 to 5:30pm at the Q on the Riverwalk inside the Hyatt Regency Hotel. They had such a good time last year that they are doing it again! We sure hope you can join them in this fun-filled day!

Not only will you see some of our city’s finest competing for the ultimate prize of best barbeque recipe, you will be able to learn all about fire prevention and grilling safety.

Sparky the Firedog will be there to share his tips on fire safety and prevention. Kids will be allowed to try on firefighter helmets, suits and boots and even explore an antique fire truck. What a perfect photo opportunity! This will all be going on while real firefighters compete to see who takes home the title of best barbeque recipe.
